This work is inspired by the Flemish still lifes - 'stilleven' - from the 17th century, but uses photographic emulsion, exaggerated scale, and artificially coloured monochrome images to produce a 'cheap' modern take on the original Flemish displays of transient wealth. All prints are done on 0.5mm thin plywood. Most are 1.52m square, with a few 75cm square. Click on any thumbnail to enlarge the image.
